Title: iStation key Repalcement
Post by: kroswynd on June 19, 2012, 09:15:08 AM
Fellow Simmers,

I recently had the misfortune of a HDD failure, thus loosing my working copy of iStation.  I am trying to get a replacement from Luis when possibly.

I have been an avid flight simmer for over 20 years stating back from the good old Apple 2e, and like most of us have progressed up the chain over the years.  I am not a hard-core cockpit builder due to time limitations with my work and and family life but i do have a little configuration in my basement which keeps me happily occupied.

I lost my way several years ago to type 1 diabetes, but never lost my passion for flying, and have since moved into a career of aircraft dispatching. The good thing is I have been able to take the office and bring it home to the Sim where I create training scenarios based on incidents that occur on the flight line and use them for ground school recurrent training.

The iStation is very good, as it allows me great flexibly while working on my projects especially not having a co-pilot or instructor to assist.

Attached are two images of my simple setup.

Shortly after posting this I got some feedback from Luis.  Thanks again

Very nice desktop!
Your choice of hardware means serious business.
Is the cdu monitor touchscreen?
What soft do you use for Avionics?
