Is Toliss and HCSCI a viable route to build Airbus cockpit?

Hi,
I have started to build a home A319/20/21 cockpit. The plan is to use a combination of DIY panels / structure and some Skalarki components. For the home built panels, I'm comfortable with the electronics and wiring, but debating which way to go with interfacing.
Has anyone successfully built a full Airbus cockpit using HCSCI (Simvim) and the Toliss 319/321 in X-Plane? Is this a workable combination to build on?

Many thanks for your help and wisdom.
