Title: Strange things
Post by: Bob Reed on January 23, 2017, 07:37:26 PM
So I am working with P3D 3.4 and I have run into a couple issues I have no idea how to start to track em down. First all controllers in P3D are disabled. All controllers work through FSUIPC. When I am on approach and I tune the ILS frequency, down come the landing gear. 2 Park the aircraft at the gate, do a shutdown and close the fuel levers, and the number one engine starts to spool up. No indication on any of the gauges, there is no APU, power is off... But there is is cranking.. Anyone have any ideas?

Bob

I was thinking last night after I shut down. Is it possible one of your switches was in the reverse position when you started up last night? Where when you think it is off but really it is on? Cause it didn't do the engine spooling to you the night before. Maybe do a complete restart after you checked all the switches are in the correct position. If you look at the overhead in pmsystems and check the switch positions with your actual overhead maybe you can identify the switch in question that thinks it is on and correct it with a mouse click on pmsystems to get it back in synch.

Bob I think I found your Taskbar issue not hiding anymore..

See here..

and again here...

Apparently The task bar being shown, causes your FPS to tank.

Had a guest over tonight and the sim behaved beautifully!! None of this stuff happened. So Trev, you may be right. KROC to KJFK live weather. Really nice flight. He had so much fun he scheduled for next month already. I really enjoyed having someone in the cockpit with me. Now to get him to fly it!
