Title: HELP with PM
Post by: burgafilms on May 29, 2017, 03:37:00 PM
Hello Guys,

I have installed my Opencockpits overhead through the SIOC and it connects to Project magenta.   I get switch and light functions to work between the PM virtual overhead and my physical overhead.    However, I can not get the boards to control my PMDG 737.     Reading into it I see that this has been a problem for some time that has not really been addressed on the developer side.

I enjoy the PMDG setup,  all the posts I can find are from 2014 and back.   Any revisions as of late to get the systems to work?    Or can anyone suggest some type of 737 to use with P3d and PM?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

PMDG has its own logic which collides with PM logic.

Forget PMDG alltogether

Use the PM 737 available on the PM site (which BYW is a very good flight model)
and all will work fine.

Ended up going with prosim and found same problem there.   Once I installed their flight model (as you suggested with PM) it all began to work.

Thanks!
