When repositioning the Jeehell A320 FMGS B47 with the "Instructor Station", the
AP does not follow the lateral guidance from the FD. It is the same in both
managed and selected mode. However, the AP does follow the vertical guidance.
When disconnecting the AP, the aircraft will follow the pitch and roll inputs
from the sidestick.
This was not an issue when using the Instructor Station in combination with the
FMGS version B45.4.
The aircraft behaves normal when not using the "Instructor Station".
On the Jeehell forum at mycockpit.org, I have seen that other people have noticed the same problem.

Thanks for your post. Yes, indeed this has been reported and observed, even when re-positioning without the Instructor Station. We are currently working on a solution to this, but nothing has changed on the Instructor Station side.
It appears that when the MCDU Flight Phase changes (i.e. select Approach Phase), the behaviour returns to normal. This is a suitable workaround when the ACFT is repositioned for an approach and landing. In any case, as stated, we are working to find a fix.
Please continue reporting your findings with successive FMGS updates.

For a while I was able to use the Instructor Station with Jeehell FMGS. What I did, was just to set a higher altitude after the A/C had stabilized. Then I would hit the "Set FCU" button again. The A/C would enter a climb and reach the higher CRZ ALT. After this procedure the A/C would behave normal and follow also the lateral guidance from the FD.
Sadly, this is not working anymore. Also selecting the Approach Phase is also not solving the problem.
Have you any idea for a solution?

From the multiple test we have run in the past month, this issue (ACFT not following lateral guidance with AP) has come up in only a few instances after ACFT repositioning.
When it did appear, it was normally resolved by changing the flight phase in the MCDU (as has been described before). In our tests we mostly ran JeeHell B49.2 and Prepar3D v4.
Is this happening to you every time after you reposition? Are you repositioning with iStation? Does this happen to you when you reposition with FS, for example?
We believe this is a JeeHell-related issue, as previous versions did not suffer from this behaviour. Others have described the same issue when repositioning with other means too.

First of all, thank you for your always fast response.
I do run Jeehell B49.2 with FSX. Like I mentioned in my first post, everything was working fine with Jeehell B45.4.
Until now, I had not tried to reposition with FSX. Now I have done some testing repositioning with FSX in the SLEW-mode. The result is the same as when repositioning using the iStation. The aircraft does not follow the lateral guidance.
However, every now and then, it does suddenly work. Sometimes I have been trying around for half an hour, to get it to work once. Unfortunately, I am not able to find out what does the trick. That is just too time consuming and I am better off just to take off and fly a pattern to practice an approach.
This issue has been briefly discussed in the Jeehell forum at mycockpit.org. I really hope that there will be a solution to this problem.

Yes, unfortunately it seems to be a JeeHell issue - not related to iStation. We will keep on top of this - hopefully a solution can be found in the near future.
