Post by: Vincent T. on June 28, 2017, 06:41:23 AM
Hi,

Months have passed by so quickly, that WF 2017 is just a few months away - 129 days away at the time of posting this message!!

When do we get started with schedules and other logistics?

Looking forward to be meeting many of you pilots again!!

On a side note, we have relocated from Nashville, TN to Cranberry, PA.

Regards,
Vincent

I know the sim has moved, but I don't know her current status nor location. I already have a room booked just in case the Chez Sam Inn is closed :)

I'll be able to be there for the full week, I've been awarded vacation,  but I'm on a business trip to Long Beach CA until the Thursday before, so Friday will be me getting from LGB to SRQ somehow.

Looking forward slinging the gear again.

Hi Nico,

I have seen videos of your setup..  Very Impressive.  This year, things are a little Messy.  Our "Official Simulator" where we all get together was damaged by a chaser storm from hurricane Harvey.  So our group will be very small, Our plan is to rebuild it during the week of worldflight.  One of our Pilots (FredK) Will be hosting some of our crew at his 737 Simulator in West VA. While we rebuild.

I am hoping we can still raise money for the charity with Fred flying, and us rebuilding and hopefully everything will be back to normal for 2018.  Please take part here at Cockpitbuilders and keep up to date, and hopefully we can get you into the roster.

in the meantime.... Have you donated?  LOL  and of course your always able to follow along in your simulator with the rest of the worldflight teams.

Trev

Thank you Trev for your response. Im not familiar with how this system works. And the logistics of the teams, simulators, etc. So i wanted to reach out to make sure you guys know that I have a simulator in NYC and I am willing to participate and take part on this event. In fact, im currently in the process of shutting down the sim for a few days to install dual linked yokes with active control loading and dual linked rudders/toe brakes with active control loading as well. So by next weekend, for the CTP event, it will officially have a level D rating by FAA. Im very excited about this milestone.

So let me know how to proceed, otherwise i will fly and stream live in my channel and you can expect a very handsome donation from my part.
Nico
