On Saturday December 15th at 1230 Eastern Time - 1730 Zulu, we will be venturing out on an exciting Journey.  Santa has invited us to the North Pole, and in order to catch our transportation this time of year (As he is very busy) we need to catch our ride from ESNQ - Kiruna Airport.

Spaceport Sweden is a new venture between Swedish Space Corporation, the Jukkasjärvi Icehotel, LFV Group and Progressum, in which they hope, when operations start that Virgin Galactic will make their second base after the USA"

We will be departing from EGNT (Newcastle) - Newcastle International Airport (IATA: NCL, ICAO: EGNT) is an international airport located on the outskirts of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, about 6.5 miles (10.5km) north-west of the city centre. In 2016 it was the 11th busiest airport in the United Kingdom and the second busiest in Northern England after Manchester Airport, handling over 4.8 million passengers.[2] Newcastle Airport has a Civil Aviation Authority Public Use Aerodrome Licence (Number P725) that allows flights for the public transport of passengers or for flying instruction.



If you would like to Join us on the flight, we will be doing it with a group of fellows on Vatsim.  (There may be Holding times at the airport due to traffic restrictions and its not that big of an airport.) Everyone is welcome.
