Can someone point me to where I can find a comprehensive list of what functions on the Fire Panel and Cargo Fire panel are supported in Prosim?

I'm finally getting around to putting my pedestal together.  I am using real fire panels and a sismo Ethernet MB/Daughter boards to interface.  The MAP from Sismo doesn't have all the functions however so I imagine I will have to run the additional functions such as solenoid, and fire handle pull etc separate of the script (if supported).

Thanks.

Hi Warren

Prosim supports all the features of the fire panels, with I/O channels for all switches and indicators,
This includes gates for the unlocking solenoids, and full integration with the master fire warning system (including bell cutout)

Also, the instructor station has a wide range of failures for the fire systems, with engine overheat / fire simulation, APU fire, Cargo fire, discharged bottle indication and also detector and loop failures.

All panel tests sequences are also supported.

That's great!  I thought so, but hadn't really paid any mind to it until this point.  I'll add some wiring then.

Thanks!

Hi Warren,

Just noticed this older post and wanted to ask how you got on with wiring up and setting up the real fire panel?

I am thinking of doing the same. Any hints or tips I should be aware of? Is this a better approach or would a unit such as the CPFlight fire panel be a better option than a real one?

Many thanks,

Steve

Truthfully, that is a half completed project.  I have a tendency to get distracted and have moved to the rest of the pedestal
