Was updating my Virtual Avionics virtual CDU for my PMDG 737 NGX and while visiting their site I noticed they offer a really close hardware replica of the 737 Collins MCP and EFIS.

At $549 USD for the MCP and $249 for the EFIS, seems like a really good price.

Anyone played with this hardware yet?  Wondering about the quality.

Never even heard of them,
If it is a decent quality piece then that price is astounding.
It even says its compatible with many add-ons including Prosim.

Anyone seen or touched this unit??????

My guess is that it looks better in the pics than in the flesh (at that price) but would be sold out in minutes if it meets most folks standards.
Interesting!!!

For anyone who is interested, I have been in contact with Helton Volasco at Virtual Avionics and have asked him about changing the backlighting on his hardware to a more realistic Amber.
He has been quite accommodating and is in the process of testing a more Amber backlighting option. A couple of other observations are the lack of a solenoid AT SWITCH and the use of non-latching buttons. There is a video on their site of this unit in action and although it does not appear to be the level of quality of , say, FDS or Simworld it could be a very capable contender in the more budget conscious crowd (like me). He thinks he may have something to show me in early December.
I will pass the info along when I get it.
