Slide Pot Wiring

Anyone know the general pinout of Slide Pots?

Trying to rewire an old throttle from Serial to a Bodnar card.  The pots have two connections at one end and one at the other but I'm at a loss as to Pwr, grd, sig
Less than 4 years to retirement......

Going to have to use a meter and figure out which one the wiper is.

Put slider in mid position and measure with multimeter two terminals. The pwr and gnd connections  should read the total resistance of pot.
Just make sure the slider is not connected to supply or you will  let smoke out of the pot.
