When I read "she rather I go ahead and get the colonoscopy (CS) sooner" the first thing that sprang to mind is:

of course, since nothing is going up her ***

Colonoscopy these days is really a breeze, so to speak  :). In my last one, they put me to sleep with Propofol (same stuff they gave to Michael Jackson) and when I woke up, I didn't even know they had done it. Same thing happened to my wife when she had it done.

However, the only disgusting part is drinking the 'potion' of whatever that makes you empty your bowels the day before. By far, that was the worse part of the procedure....assuming that you wake up after the Propofol of course, and if you don't, you'll never know anyway  ;D

Do they no longer do the whole enema thing?

Mods feel free to clean up these messages once you see them. Only 3 pages and we've gone from cockpit builders meeting to medical procedures of the below the waist type.

Not here they don't. But nothing to stop you from doing it if that's your cup of tea  ;D

Ok the last piece of the puzzle arrived yesterday. (I was assured it would) so I now have the ID I need to cross the borders. It is going to be a great time!

Back Home ..!

Went to see my Mom in France.
At 90 she needed some unscheduled maintenance.
All is well for now.

Flew the maxi A380, Amazing!!!
Was spoiled to upperdeck wide seats (beds), with some time in the front office.
The bird is incredibly quiet and the three video cameras (one on tail top, one under belly, and one front are a delight to check out during all phases of flight.
Go for it  Guys!

Well, glad to see the excitement about the Get Together and the colonoscopy!

Cheers Guys and... back to building and playing with the big toys.
Jack

That's great, Jack.  Glad all is well on the family front, and that you got to enjoy the perks of the A380.  While not really an Airbus fan, I have to admit that from the pics I've seen, the A380 is an extraordinary bird.  See you in a couple of weeks!

It's been really quite in the forum lately...  does that mean everyone is saving all their comments and posts to share personally at the 2012 get together?

... or maybe enjoying the summer outside in the fresh air instead of being stuck in the basement, garage, dungeon or wherever while working on their enbryonic, preemie, newborn, toddler or teenage flight decks and dealing with all the challenges, aggravations and/or problems that flight deck fatherhood brings on  ;D

Well...you can combine both, the garage door wide open, sunshine on the workbench, birds singing and mosquitoes bugging....I manage to hang up my Aft overhead , swings back like the real one for "maintenance" thanks to the FDS hinges.

Plus a wink at Mau with picture #2 of a working Telex Handset to hint  passengers about  the nice FS9 scenery on the left or right of the aircraft!

I must say your workshop scenery is quite realistic, but the left or right sides of your workshop may not impress your passengers all that much unless they also are grease monkeys  ;D

Looks really nice Jack!  It never ceases to amaze me how awesome these cockpits look when they start coming together.

You know it really is exciting to see more pictures all the time.  Pictures tell a thousand words, and thats incredible.  Great Job Jack.

I too have found things around here to be quite quiet.  Maybe everyone is just trying to enjoy the good weather while we have it..  For me, I am just trying to stay away from some of the forest fires we are having surrounding us. LOL

Perhaps you should be building a water bomber instead of a Beech 99  ;D

LMFAO..  I think I will modify the undercarriage to store water. but perhaps your right...  It s hard to say what would transpire with me at the controls of the water bomber.  I suspect the fires would get a tad out of control cause I would be joyriding LOL.

Thanks for the tip though Mau.

Quiet here cause im flying my ass off! Im so sick of 737's when i come home the last thing i feel like doing is building a 737!!!

Naa, im kidding (a little true) but mostly kidding :) ill have some updates soon.  Within the next week my sim is coming in the house for the summer and into the media room so i can actually work on it in a normal temperature. Will be nice to have the sim right there in my office so i can actually develop, run , and test code.   Pics soon!

Looks really great Jack! You better start flying it soon and get some scratches, food stains and scuff marks in that thing so you can really make it look real!

Ill be happy to help you with that when your ready :)

I have nothing to post...  Everything is packed up and headed to Europe.  We're sleeping on mattresses on the floor.  Maybe I should buy some 1st Class seats, use them to sleep on here in the US then store them until I get back in a couple of years ;D

Looking forward to next weekend though!
