The Dallas/Ft. Worth Commemorative Air Force "Warbirds on Parade" and carshow.

Cockpit-Fest USA 2014 will feature privately owned aircraft cockpits and simulators restored by collectors from across the USA. 2014 is also introducing a race car simulator award!

The Friday Night Social will feature a dinner in a hanger among your favorite aircraft and will feature a competition for the best illuminated cockpit.

Thanks to the generous staff at the Cold War Air Museum, some of the Cockpit-Fest 2014 award winners will be given prize flights in this beautiful Nanchang CJ-6A!

This CJ-6A is just one of the aircraft operated by the museum. On Aug 30th one of their Hind attack helicopters will fly a demo that all CF attendees will be able to enjoy.

Fri Night Social & Dinner: August 29th, 6PM

The popular Friday night Social & Steak Dinner is back! Its your chance to have dinner with friends in an aircraft hanger while surrounded by illuminated cockpits. Enjoy a fun filled evening catered by Ruth Bailey from A Utopian Event. The menu will feature salad, mashed potatoes, steak, and desert.

The Douglas R4D-6S "Ready for Duty" is a WWII Submarine Hunter version of the famed DC-3.

Her records showed that she had been used as an anti-submarine warfare (ASW) aircraft, primarily for the training of crews in the use of new ASW equipment. Bureau No. 50783's Weight and Balance record gives details of an impressive array of electronic gear, and even provisions for carrying bombs! This clearly was not your regular dime-a-dozen cargo plane; this was a wolf in sheep's clothing!

The R4D-6S Bu.No. 50783 was built in October 1944, at Douglas Aircraft's Oklahoma City plant. She was one in a group of 35 C-47B-l0-DK'"s [the full USAAF designation] which were converted on the production line to the Navy's R4D-6 specification. She was accepted by the Navy on October 1944 and assigned to Naval Air Transport Squadron Three (VR-3), headquartered at the Olathe, Kansas Naval Air Station on October 25th 1944
