Capt seat position

Would someone with real shell and J-Rail be able to get A and B measurements when the capt seat if full back and left at the end stop of the J rails.

Or maybe Mike Leavy ?  hey Mike one more...

from the thigh support, not including cover. A measures 1.25" fwd of the pedestal B measure
8.25" from pedestal.

From centre of Inboard front foot fitting on seat  A measure 3-3/4" aft of front of pedestal. B Measure 10.25"

Side note. The thigh support on Ipeco seats is 1/4" wider than the seat frame. Pedestal to seat frame 8.5"

So My drawing was off assuming A>B.
If I get it correctly, when the Capt seat is fully back and left on the rails (to gain access to it) there is a lateral clearance of some 8" from the pedestal, but the front of the seat is more or less aligned with the front of the ped.  Correct?

Yep thats right. Lateral clearance would be 8.5" from the pedestal. That looks just about perfect Jack.

Very good news as my seats (L1011) have a forward/back adjustment which allows full travel back to that position from the full forward. So I do not need J rails , just a set of east-west rails to move the seat aside.
