B737-800 fuel cutoff command

  I'm having a little bit of a hard time figuring out how to add a B737-800 fuel cutoff command. I have a home made trottle that has working fuel cutoff levers. Any ideas.

hi mike..........
when you say working fuel levers, i assume you have a microswitch attached to them.  i can't get your photo to load i'm afraid so i cant take a peek.
here's how i do it........ levers/microswitches hooked to a bodnar card.   FSUIPC identify's them.   selecting for FS Control, in the dropdown menu, i use the Offset Byte Set option.  this lets you set the value of the parameter in that offset.   for eng1 i use offset 3590 and for eng2 it's 3594.   then in the parameter box, it's 1 for on (idle) and 0 for off (cutoff).
just use the 'for button pressed' for one parameter and 'when button released' for the other dependant on how the microswitch operates.

if you are using one of the 'upmarket' avionics packages like PM or Sim Avionics, just check that the
offsets in there for the fuel valves are the same, if not then just substitute your offset for mine.  mine will work with most stock and add on aircraft

You can also use 'mixture rich' and 'mixture lean' FSUIPC commands for fuel flow for a turbine aircraft.
