Being Computer Challenged, I would like be taught about digital vs analog monitors.
Like everyone else I use flat screens which apparently can be used both ways.
Any advantage to use digital?
How do you switch to digital , if doable?
Does the use of the white adapter (DVI?) automatically makes the screen go to digital?

Using an adapter will not change the signal to digital. You'll need cards that have DVI ports to get the monitors to funtion in a digital mode.

I have monitors running in both digital and analog mode. My eye can't tell the difference. That may be because I'm used to each monitor running on it respective port, or that it's not that important to me for me to notice.
Why yes...I am a rocket scientist...
