What I like to call the "sooper seekrit avionicks"! *laughs*

Quick demonstration of the avionics...

The package will eventually be released commercially and will support X-Plane, MSFS and possibly FlightGear.

looks awesome Gene.  I fly a real G1000 in my Cessna 172 rental and am just about ready to take my practical instrument test in it.  The software you have looks great and I look forward to seeing more.   Flight1Tech is working on a version also and I currently have their Cessna Mustang which is fantastic.   I would definitely pay for this software you are showing.  Of course I will need to have two sims then :-o

Very nice!!

Thanks guys.  Having more than one sim is ok.  Really.  Trust me on this. :D

I'm starting to build projectors this week - check out the new blog entry over at http://www.simpits.org/geneb.  This is going to just kick ass when it's done.  *insane laughter* :)

That's because a period snuck into the stupid URL on the end.  I'll edit the message to fix it. :)

..ok, the url is fixed, but something keeps changing "kicks Asshat" to "kicks Asshat".  While oddly funny, it's very annoying. :)

[and it did it AGAIN!  Drop the "hat" and it make sense...Bad Trev!  No donut!]

Hehe.  Damn forum software anyway. *laughs*

BTW, I've got all the parts for the projectors cut and I'll be doing assembly work this week and hopefully I'll have at least one up and running by Saturday.  The eventual configuration will be three 1024x768 projectors fed by an analog TH2G driven by a dual or triple SLI system.

A friend of mine is HUGE into Need For Speed:Shift and volunteered money & parts so he could play it on 3 9ft wide screens.  He drools every time he thinks about it. *laughs*

The neat thing is that this new machine will be the perfect home for the Commodore Gaming case I bought a while back. :D
