I managed to get my hands on two Flight Dynamics HGS units. Both are complete.

One was used in a UPS Boeing 727. That 727 is still operational.

The combiner glass is more polygonal than the one on a modern 737 NG.

Any ideas on where I can find some dimensional data on where to mount this unit in the cockpit? Making some brackets to mount it in the Flightdeck Solutions shell is not going to be difficult. Positioning correctly of the unit inside the shell will be. Could use some help and appreciate anything I can get!

Thanks.

you can get the combiner cut ... but it not simple its is actually two glass items with a layer of gold sheeting sandwiched in between what you have is a collimated display head .. i can point t you in direction of having them cut but be forewarned... it costs an arm a leg your next unborn child.. in short dont bother.. a house is more cost competitive your  magic number is 11 inches. I assume you need mounting drawings ? I have them in a safe place which means I will spend hours and hours hunting them
