Title: DAL209 Travel Plans
Post by: dougsnow on October 16, 2016, 04:24:11 AM
So

What are the DAL209 pilot travel plans?

I arrive on our flight deck jumpseat at TPA @ 1848 friday the 4th; FDX562, an A300. I'll uber it to the pax terminal and I have a car reserved. If anyone needs a ride to SRQ, more than welcome to hop in.  Should be southbound around 1930 or so.

My departure is the tuesday after world flight concludes, an 0700 departure out of SRQ to DCA for meetings with the FAA.

He Doug, I think my plans are very much the same as yours.  I do arrive earlier than you on the Friday, I get in around 11:30am but I may try and sneak a ride with you back to SRQ Super early Tuesday Morning, I think I have a 6:40am flight out of SRQ if that works.

Hi Doug,

Looks like AC changed the flights, I'll be arriving in TPA earlier than expected. I think I'll rent a car and return it to SRQ on Saturday.

Ray, when does your flight arrive? Maybe I can take the car back and hitch a ride with you back to Sam's?

I'm not getting a car this year. Didn't make any sense to have a car and have it sit at Sam's all week.

As it stands, I'll be bumming a ride off someone this year from SRQ.

Hi all! First time I'm going to be joining for worldflight, I'm very excited;). I'm planning on coming only for one day, Tuesday through Wednesday. I'm coming from the miami area and was planning on taking a bus up- although it seemed like a very lengthy ride lol. 6.5 hours to be exact. Therefor I figured I'll post
It here,so if anyone has by suggestions of a better way to get up there please do let me
Know, do note however that unfortunately I'm unable to rent a car.
Thanks again! Would really appreciate any tips :)
Looking forward to meeting you all!
Avi

I think jfuenmayor is also traveling up from the Miami area, but not sure what his DEP/ARR dates are...

Hi guys, if anyone of you needs a ride to or from SRQ airport I'm available to pick you up or drop you off at anytime day or night, I will have a crew car available 24/7 for your use at all times.

Wow! 6 hours from Miami to Sarasota is a lot of hours, driving the speed limit is about 3 hours on a car.

Cheers!

Hi guys.

Yes I am coming in from the  Miami and driving solo, so I have three spots available, but since my car is a convertible with a hard top, there is not much space in the trunk for baggage, so bear that in mind.

I plan to leave on Saturday morning.
And yes, I took the whole week off :).

Cheers

Missed the word "area" for the phrase "Miami area".
Always emphasis on good English :)
