Hi All,

Last month there was 5 year milestone of my sim build.  Of course, that was far from full-time sim building.
Here are a few pictures for the jubilee.

What's completed now: the cockpit internals largely are done. The big items for the last year were FWD and AFT overheads.
Pedestal is not done yet - it's filled with mostly real panels but not wired (besides CP Flight rudder trim panel).
The linked pedals will be next big building item. As well as visual system revision.

How sim performs now can be seen in this full HD video:

I also created Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ElephantAir737 where I will be posting quick updates, and full details will still be available at http://elephantair737.blogspot.ca/

Did you build the sliding windows handle ?
Nice.

One improvement I suggest for all FDS Shell owners is to beef up the front window  center post.
Just adding two 1" wide strips on each side makes it more like the original

Yes, I built window handles myself, from internet pictures (no drawings or dimensions obtained).

Wooden sticks and MDF.

Underlying plates are cut from plastic kitchenware  box:

Total cost for these is roughly twenty bucks.

Thanks for the advice, Jack - already making the stripes.
