Title: A short video of my new project.
Post by: 727737Nut on November 12, 2014, 03:34:12 PM
Here is a link to an APU start-up using the awesome FlyJsim 732, SIOC, Pokeys 57 and FSSymphony.
Notice the Amps gauge change with load.  Pretty cool! 12bit PWM driving gauges.

Awesome work as usual!  I love those Pokeys cards.

That amp gauge isn't standard equipment on an NG, is it?

That's a nice video, too, mate!

Thanks Guys,

I'm not building an NG ;)   737-200 based on the FlyJSim 732 in X-Plane 10  Using all real parts to boot. :)  Lots of work ahead of me.

personally I have to say that your project is a milestone that I strive to reach for, but likely don't have the ability to do. In any case watching your videos (Especially your engine instrument conversion) drives me to keep on going, puts me in the building mood and gives me the encouragement to reach for the stars..

Your an inspiration.

Thanks for that

Thanks Trevor,  Don't sell yourself short.  It is much easier to interface the real stuff today versus just a few years ago.   Arduino is just one of the many new ways to interface.  Good ol SIOC with newer cards and software is an option as well.

That's unreal, amazing! Maybe in another 100 years I'll develop the ability to get my gauges working too, seriously, you guys are an inspiration to continue learning and building, cheers.

Hey Sam,
What gauges are you wanting to get working?

Awesome Rob!

Nothing quite like seeing a real gauge come to life in a sim :)

Hi Rob, I'm trying to get the Simworld 737 O/H gauges to work,  they are not so complicated like your setup but for me it takes a little while to figure them out and get them going,  they suposolly work right out of the box with ProSim737 but I'm running sim-avionics.
