Title: Good PCB manufacturers and software
Post by: kurt-olsson on October 01, 2018, 10:17:52 PM
Hi.

I will need a PCB that connects my Teensy with ULN2803a (2 minimum). I also want the PCB to have db connector.

Does anyone have any references?

I thinking of using easyEDA since many manufacturers can use their format.

Hi Kurt
I have used EasyPCB they are cheap,  quick and good quality boards. I believe their minimum order is 5 boards.
I use Eagle for creating the circuit which is free for making small boards.

Just another thought, if your design is more complicated you can use DesighSpark from RS electronic that is also free and very powerful.

This will be very basic.

Components will only be Teensy and ULN2803a darlington transistor chips.

What is the website link for the easypcb manufacturer?

Thanks again Joe.

My first homemade pcb for the anti-ice panel is soon done. It works but its really amaturish compared to the custom pcb with connectors... :(

I built all my PCB's with DipTrace https://diptrace.com/ There's a free version of it that allows for 300 pins.  You can also request a free non-profit lite license that allows for slightly larger projects up to 500 pins.  I had to get that for FMC PCB board.

For manufacturing, I'll either use OshPark here in the States for small boards/small orders
https://oshpark.com/

or EasyEDA/JLCPCB in Shenzen China for larger boards/large orders.

Never had a problem with either one.
