Stijn

Hi there,

I would like to introduce my self, My name is Stijn Baart, 22 years old from the Netherlands.
I work for a large airline as an aircraft technician on the B737-700 and -800.

Me and a friend have started a B737 sim project. We started the project a few moths ago, We were lucky enough to buy some parts (original B737-NG and replica) from a company that build level D sims, this really gave a boost to our project.

We have been busy with assembling and fabricating the MIP and is allmost finished, just the inputs needs to be connected to the I/O cards.

Parts we now have to build the cockpit:
- Original Next-gen Glareshield (MCP frame and liners)
- Original Next-gen P6 circuitbreaker panel/unit
- Original Next-gen P18 circuitbreaker panel/unit
- Original Next-gen jumpseats (both)
- Original Next-gen overhead panel frames
- Replica Pedestal
- Original Classic Throttle Quadrant
- A lot of original items like lamp assy's/oxygen masks/lifevests
- Real steering tiller assy

We also have a complete replica cockpit liner set, but I cant see the difference with the real aircraft.

We feel we have all the ingredients to make an awesome sim, and we will keep you guys op to date on the progress!

I will try to upload some pictures when I can.

Greetings!

Stijn

Hi Stijn,

Welcome to the Cockpit Builders Club! You and your friend have certainly been busy collecting items and have a great start already. Please keep going and posting as you progress, it will help all of us old and new.

In fact, with you being an Aviation Tech on the very same aircraft, you might be helping us a lot more then you know. You have an insiders view point of how things actually work under the hood, so too speak. Just like all the real pilots who are members here, you will be a great assest to answer those unknown questions.

Once again, welcome to Cockpit Builders and thank you for joining.

John

Hi,

I got them from a professional Flight simulator company in the Netherlands, they don't sell these sets.
