Bernard

Are you absolutely sure those have been decommissioned? Getting concerned here about your well-being, and you want to avoid shooting a hole through your screen!

WOW!

We've seen some brilliant builds on this form but Bernard this tops them all, (I think).
What a stunning looking aircraft, and what a fine meticulous job you've done on the restoration.

Well done my friend!

You need to contact Hollywood and let them use it on your location for movies...a few green screens and it's ready to go!

Otherwise, DAMN BERNARD! This is beyond belief what you've done!

Trivia question!

Anyone know why there's only 2 fins on those drop tanks?
Title: Re: Hello Bernard
Post by: bernard S on April 28, 2023, 08:14:31 AM
yes I do   in fact there are four  two are recessed there is a small explosive charge to drop the tank when released the remaining two fins "pop out"

what is the red line for on the wheel rim(1st pic)?
Title: Re: Hello Bernard
Post by: bernard S on May 20, 2023, 06:24:04 AM
well Jack there are reasons why wheel rims have so much detail in real life..

1 they have yellow cap on valve as caution  to put back on and easy to notice when off

2.. the rectangle red bit is screwed to wheel and has tail number on it

3.. what you did not notice is a bit that has a counterweight inside of the split rim to balance it

4.. the thin red line yiubask about is a warning marking which reads .. Cautiin deflate before removing bolts ..why because nose wheel takes 120 psi
