Hey Guys,In the Spirit of the upcoming Holidays, I thought this would be quite appropriate..

'Twas the Night before pushback'

Twas the night before Pushback, when all around the Ramp
Not a Wideview client running, nor XPIPC in sight.
Some stockings were hung by the pedestal with care,
In hopes that Flightdecksolutions or Peter Cos soon would be there.

The children (Dean, Ian, Nihad and Phil) were nestled all snug in first class, While visions of DZUS & IBL Panels danced in their heads. Bob reviewing checklists, and I’m getting’ the weather,
Needin’ to prepare for a early morning flight to wherever.

When out from the Jet way arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the FBO to see what was the matter.
Away to the window I ran like a dart,
Past the GPU and the Follow Me Cart.

The moon on the breast of the cold de-iced crest
Gave the lustre of baggage carts and fuel trucks outside of the Hangers below. When, what to my wondering eyes did I see,
But a Ivar, and Jackpilot Drinkin’ (and it sure wasn’t Tea).

Just then there was a Flash of a strobe from an NG,
I knew in a moment it must be Mau Ben waving at me.
A Start of the APU and a crackle on the Comms,
Everyone listened as our good friend made his call.

Now Ramp and clearance, old Tower and Ground,
This NG’s do in the hanger for its C-check I gotta get it turned around. Call Cockpitsonic, Engravity, Simknobs and FI,
I got money to spend and the wifey hasn’t asked why!

I want a NEW shell, MCP and forward Overhead,
Don’t forget ACE cause their yokes are nothing to dread.
I Said Kory’s, DZUS and a new Parking Brake,
I am sure Gwyn can figure this out before the remaining Auzzies Awake.

And then, in a twinkling, I heard from the plane.
The #2 fuel pumps pressure climbing just waiting for the flame.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
There stood Peter , Steve and the FDS Team with a big bag of Toys,
For each of us good ol’ boys.

They were all dressed in fur, from their heads to their feet,
their clothes were all tarnished with Oil and concrete.
They had Front Panels, Sys Cards, and a full FBPT,
Bringing tears of Joy, to the team and me.

As They Whistled and hollered and made all sorts of noise.
Mau Shut the plane down, to come hang with the boys,
The C-Check Began, EGPWS Test and all, Before we all know it
Gwyn was having a ball.

Then all at once the work was complete,
Mau was jumping up and down like he was playing hopscotch in the street. We waved and shook hands for the Quality and Pride,
Mau just couldn’t wait to climb into his new Ride.

With a flick of his Finger the Induced fuel gleamed,
The engines roared on like nothing we had ever seen.
He called for his clearance, ere he taxied out of sight,
To the end of 31 for take off into the cool night.,

On Pratt and Whitney Mau yelled on the comm,
As he pressed the thrust forward, and thought
(Did I say goodbye to my mom?)

Down he rolled 31 Roaring into sight, 80..120 and off for a flight.
Next thing we knew his plane was away, he gave us a wave and a tilt of his hat Across the comms for all of us to hear, Mau then exclaimed,

HEY, Cockpitbuilders.com what ya think of that?

Wish I could have included all of you in it..  Anyway...  Finally got the font to be ok.. but the silly paragraph format doesn't seem to let me move the lines around.

Regardless, I think you all get the gist LOL

BEAUTIFUL TREVOR! BRAVO (CLAPPING*)
However Trevor there is something missing in the poem you wrote, so I took the liberty to help finish it off for you lol

Trevor, the verse you forgot must be put in
How could it be Christmas without Tiny Tim
For remember dear Trevor he helped with decking the halls
And was always available to bust peoples balls
And never let it be said he would run from a fight
Or ever deny a member in flight
So raise your glasses high of holiday cheer
No matter its wine, soda or beer
But all that’s needed to make things right
Is to wish all of the members A Merry Christms in flight
:)

LMFAO Tim.. Of course I couldn't forget about tiny Tim...  Hilarious.  Good thing you added it.  :)

Cheers Mike, It was hard to have a conversation with Tracy after typing that out, because I was thinking in rhyme and to that tune!
Not good at all, but it was fun. :)
