Title: 737 procedure trainer
Post by: christoph87 on October 29, 2009, 11:44:04 AM
Hello,

my name is Christoph from Germany. I will have finished a part of my flight training end of this year and will have some time during christmas and new year. Therefore I want to build myself a procedure trainer for the 737 NG. I want to say a big thank you for the very supportive homepage which provides not only good construction plans but also great feedback.

The whole setup will consist of the middle-console, the overhead and the front panel. Autopilot will not be functional (manual flight ^^).

As an input source i already modified an USB- Keyboard, the switches are working already. The electric circuit consists of the 2 chips on the controller board of the keyboard, the switch and one condensor. So to say if you use the switch it´s for the computer just like you shortly push the keyboard-button.

Landscape will be displayed on my already finished homemade videoprojector. (800 x 600 but fair enough)

I´ll use FS9. (I´m not quite happy with that, because there´s no turning error on the ADF which is quite essential in my opinion)

Greets
Christoph

the forum is only young...but all the old masters are here (apart from me) so its probably the best place on the net to ask anything right now.
