Title: Luis Gordo Instructor Station 3.01 Compatibility with XPlane 10.30
Post by: rehickok on October 15, 2014, 04:12:53 AM
I am trying to use Gordo Instructor Station 3.01 with XPlane 10.3.  I run Xplane and Instructor Station on the same PC.  Interested in the General System and Panel Failures with General Avaition Aircraft like the C172 etc.. There is nothing that describes each failure and what to expect, or which ones are simulated and which ones are not. The only failure that seems to work is engine failure.  Has anyone had success using IS with XPlane?

Hit there,
Sorry for the delayed response.
You are right in that the iStation manual does not currently describe each and every offset for all the failures presented in the software.  Most of the ones you describe are purely what FSX offers as standard possibilities, so your best bet would be to look for failure offsets in the FSUIPC offsets manual.  From there, rate of success depends on whether the functionality (i.e. specific failure) is implemented in XPlane or not.  Also, the related offset needs to be included in XPUIPC.
As you can see, there is no short answer... will try to get more specific info onto the manual for this section onto the next release.
