So I was looking around the inter-webs and discovered this little gem.

Nearly $7000 for basically just a MIP, a few metal bezels, and a radio stack with some switches and knobs.

Adding everything you see in the list bumps the price up to a whopping $18,000

I know this is an expensive hobby but.... Is it just me?

Yes. It is way overpriced.
Its more nice finish to these products but structural work can be done by yourself pretty easily.

Check out Simparts MIP frame (if they have any GA) and then build your own structure.
