Title: Looking for a OC USB Keys card
Post by: fsaviator on February 20, 2012, 02:35:05 PM
Anyone have an OC USB Keys card they want to get rid of?  I just went to connect my second homebuilt CDU and it appears that the card I have does not work.  I swapped the PIC between cards and it looks like the PIC is corrupt.  It isn't recognized in Windows 7.

Does anyone know of a substitute that works well in Prosim, that i can just plug the 40-pin cable into?

Thanks,

Warren

Warren,

A Hagstrom KE72 keys card works great for this and should work for ProSim. I use one for PM and ProSim is similar to PM's handling. Funny thing is, I had a floppy disc with the KE72 programmed out for the CDU, but cannot find it. Searched high and low, but no luck; however, doesn't mean it's lost, just means not looking hard enough...lol. Anyway, you should check into the Hagstrom cards, as they're an easy solution.

That would be great as my ineptitude with SIOC is giving me fits trying to get the CDU(s) working alongside my TQ.

My biggest concern is that it is currently all wired up.  Will that be a problem with the Hagstrom?  What about a Bodnar card...  I have one sitting here next to me?

Dont know anything about Bodnar, but with Hagstrom you could get two IO cards (connects wires to KE72 using screws) and wiring is then simple...
