Title: B737: measures from lower (light) - panel
Post by: MjTom on March 24, 2016, 05:22:11 PM
Hello,
I need again some measures, this time from the lower panel.
I find no pictures that have a lateral perspective.
so, it´s very difficult to assess the dimensions.
Please have a look.

A: Is this an angel of 90° ?
B: need the high from the frame to the panel

I think it looks from the side like this, can you confirm that?

The angle is wider than 90 about 100-110 and the lip is about 1½-¾ inch.
Unless you can access to late NG, no way to check it precisely.
Not really fundamental IMHO
Cheers
Jack

Hi Jack....

....thanks for the answer.
I was a bit disappointed that no one wanted to help me.
Here is no way to visit the cockpit from a real B738 without landing in jail.

Your statement has meantime confirmed.
The angle should be ~98°
The lip with curve ~ 4cm

Two banal dimensions, but they are important for the look like an original.

Two pictures of the current state of affairs, it stays a long way to go:
