Title: Garmin G5 PFD
Post by: pilotshane on February 19, 2018, 01:53:16 PM
Hello, for my cockpit build I am doing traditional six pack but in place the  of standard attitude indicator would like to simulate Garmin's mini pfd  G5 instrument. Has anyone seen someone has built this or know of anyone who markets these or of any plans/drawings for building one?

Hi Shane. You can definitely find somebody to build it for you (send an e-mail to the fine folks at Ruscool Electronics http://www.ruscool.co.nz/ (http://www.ruscool.co.nz/)) they do lots of custom sim panels and their craftsmanship is second to none. The other (cheaper) option is to have the bezel 3D printed as it looks fairly simple in terms of geometry.
How close to the real unit would you like it to be?
