Title: Leo Bodnars Boards
Post by: Richard on July 20, 2010, 06:07:11 AM
I am currently using two of Leo Bodnars excellent boards.  They have "push-fit" connections that can easily be unplugged and reconnected as required.  Your input wires need only be bare ended and preferably tinned, and then just pushed into the appropriate slots.  Supports switches and rotaries very well.

Very reasonably priced too and nice and compact to fit in awkward spaces.  Indestructible too!

Love 'em!

Here is the second part of the answer to your yokes! Bypass the crummy electronics in your yokes and use the analog inputs on the Bodnar boards to control them! I am pretty sure they have joystick controllers on them.

Supports switches and rotaries very well.

I have Leo Bodnar´s BU0836X and this was the card I was referring to.

Yes Leo´s BU0836X is excellent and I can recommend it for switches and analogue pot´s.
It is also good for encoder´s if you do not need fast dialling,  such as heading-bug or course-select.

I actually am running 4 of these in my setup.  Great Boards, and I would totally recommend them.

Highly recommended here too. We've just purchased a couple of these for another simulator project that we're working on and they arrived almost before we'd paid for them! Super fast delivery.

I use one too.

I think nearly everyone here does for one thing or another.
