Hi, as so many people asked how the light plates are done, we made a short video to explain.

and also new product  the 737 GFK Fibre shell in the webshop

http://www.simparts.de/epages/15465782.sf/de_DE/?ObjectPath=/Shops/15465782/Products/737-SHELL-MISC

for any questions feel free to contact us. In March we start with the UH1D. All Instruments and panels up to turnkey solutions available.

Thank you Joerg!

Very interesting and informative video. Especially how laser engraving is done.

Jorg,

The How to video is amazing.  I love the way you fit the brass inserts and your lighting is awesome.

Thanks for that.

Thanks,

we got so many requests so we thought it's more easy to do a video, and thats the same way real lightplates are done. Except some very colourful ones they get an additional silk screen printing on top. We also do custom made panels and can also produce them cheaper like the others do if wanted.

Reagarding our Misc cockpit parts. They are also available seperate. We wil put them in the shop the next days.

regards and happy carneval...

Great video.

But the shell is not realy made by you ? Because it looks exactly , also the pictures are the same as from Vito from www.flybyecockpits.com

Jorg,

I never realized you would do custom work.  That is excellent news. (-- Add to mental notes --)

Thanks,

No,

the shell ist made by flybycockpits, why sholuld we invent the wheel when others produce quality that fits in our portfolio. As we are doing entertainment systems. Their shell and parts fit perfect to our panels.

Hi Warren, I visited Joerg's facility and I have to say it's very impressive. Far beyond the usual "Garage facility".
His Panels are second to none.
We have to remember that he is a professional and makes a living from this work.
In regards to the fibre glass Cockpit I would like to say " Rolls Royce don't manufacture their tyres either".
Anyway, great product, helpful guy - Joerg Keep up the good work.
Kind regards, Kurt

Can the canbus be used to control real gauges? I am thinking eg 737 overhead gauges like cabin differential, cabin VSI, fuel temp, pressure ducts...

Kurt, I've also visited Joerg, but not since he's moved to the new facility.  Are you located near him?  If so, we are neighbors and I'm always looking for someone to fly with

That was not my intention to critizese. More i am pleased to see that a company is workijg together with Flybycockpits. I have seen their shell in Lelystadt and it is great. so this is a win-win situation for simparts and flybyecockpits.

If i had not  build my shell myself, this would be my choise!!
