Hello,
Mostly I have no original pictures, now I have two different.

Once directly under the lower light panel....
....the other directly above the metal cladding and a piece below the light panel.

Which is from the B738-NG ?

If somebody have a few pictures from the NG adjusting unit or measures, I would be very grateful.

so long, Thomas

Karl737

Hi Thomas,

The top one is from a classic and the bottom from an NG.

Will take some pics for you tomorrow...

Regards,
Karl

Gallie

It looks like the top is a real crank + CB panel mounted to a replica bracket and mip frame.

Both classic and NG cranks are located at the exact same position. The lower subpanel frame on a classic and NG have the same hights.

The classic crank brackets are rivited to the mip frame where the NG crank is bolted.
The mounting bracket is the only main difference in apearance.

I can send you some pictures of my classic crank + bracket mounted to my replica NG mip frame, let me know if you need them.

Cables ?
Linear motion is best obtained with this type of gearing
Can be manual, with a crank, or electrical with a motor

Hello Thomas

Karl is correct.  The upper image is from 500 series.  I should have mentioned this in my article - my apologies.

I have since updated the article on the website to reflect this.    Cheers,   WilloW

Aerosim Solutions

My units are actually a switch as I motorized my rudder adjustment like the 777 has!

You can use my pictures for scaling, they are the right size!

I got a set of Gwyns' Aerosim Solutions cranks in my cockpit. I added a set of real circuit breakers in both and they look just like the real thing....thanx Gwyn!

Hi there,

I do not have the cranks but have a picture of the attachment under the MIP that may be of help.

Is that a real NG MIP frame? Out of its shell? Is it for sale? I really need one of these.

Hi there,

Yes, real 737NG MIP out of the shell but pictures are from some time ago, no shell or MIP for sale  :(
