I acquired a compass a couple weeks ago on eBay.   It was just the compass itself and it was black and of course pretty grungy.    I cleaned it up and gave it a paint job and in the meantime I reached out to Art at Northern Flight Sim to fashion a replica 737 bracket for me.   Below is the end result.   It will really finish off that part of the cockpit once installed and lit.  Now I need to make a compass error correction card.

I have no intention of trying to make it work as even if the avionics all go dark I think I can still find my way out of the basement  :D.

Unless I had a few too many glasses of wine of course.  :P
