Hi everyone, I just began to build a full relistic replica of the 737NG (-800 series)
our idea is to build 99% or 100% to get the full realism as the real one, I'm working with my boyfriend, our objective is to train for when we are going to begin our real pilot training,
i wanted to ask if somebody was having pictures, pdf, screenshots or whatever with real B738NG outside shape, windows, doors, etc...
Thank you a lot !!! :D

Hi Val.

If you do a search here in the forum for "737 Dimensions" I am sure you will find many links to many files.  Good luck with your build.

You can get all the dimensions required as Trevor suggested however putting them all together is much trickier.

I am trying to build a wooden shell (ribs) and I have accumulated lots of info, links, a few CAD files and sketchup files, however the scale is the issue as they all differ. Then there is the base etc. This hopefully can be overcome with interior measurements such as on MarcusPilots site.

I would suggest once you have the into, make a 1/5 scale model which is what im doing and trying to see how it all fits together.

Ivars wooden shell is superb! - http://www.mycockpit.org/forums/showthread.php?t=10043

Best of luck.  :)

Hello Valentina,

There is also nice information (CAD drawings) available from http://www.simujabs.com/index.php/blog
Look near the bottom of the page.

I have also been planning how to make my base and it can be confusing, I have found many different measurements and it is hard to determine which is correct. Making the scale model (I used scale drawings on paper) may be a very good option.

Good luck!
