Bergison

Hi everybody and thanks for accepting me in this great forum!

I'm a flightsim enthusiast since MS Flight Simulator 2 and built my first "pit" out of cardboard when aged 12. Since then, many simpits have come and gone, sometimes with more time for this great hobby and sometimes with no time (or space) at all but overall, I stuck to it.

Some years ago I created the "Bergison G-Seat" (a short video of it can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PzwfRqSbLzo).
My current project is to build a F-18E Super Hornet simulator. You can see some pictures and videos of it on my website: http://bergisons.simpit.info/bergisons_f18_simpit if you like.

For a living, I drive the A-320 for Austrian Airlines as a captain and TRI. I'll be happy to help answering specific questions about this bird.

Hi Chris,

welcome, nice to see another builder from Austria  8)

I spent hours with the F/A 18 Hornet Classic simulator practicing carrier landings on Apple computers some 20 yrs ago ...

Good luck for your project.

Thanks for the welcome guys!

Jack, as some other simmers already wanted to rebuild the G-Seat, I posted a lot of info on how it works, the parts needed etc... on my website: bergisons.simpit.info
If you don't find what you are looking for there, feel free to post your question here or send me a pm.

Cheers!

Hi Chris and welcome! Looks like more expertise to add to the growing knowledge base! Your seat looks interesting.
