Hi Guys, I have had to install a new Theme for the forum, as the old one isn't compatible with the new version of SMF. I anticipate that is one of the reasons the server keeps having issues.. Anyway, I know this one is a bit dark, and I will be lightening it up. anyway, please provide your comments moving forwards.

I like it! I don't think it's too dark, it's interesting! A nice change, but if I'm in the minority with that opinion I am cool with it being changed as well.

The black text is a bit hard to read, (for 60+ pilots at least)

No, it isn't shorter.. :) But I do need to fix a bunch of little things.. The black is hard to read, thats why I am working on lightening the background. Some little growing pains but we will get there. One of the bigest problems with software companies when they have to fix security problems because people can't leave things alone.
If I am not mistaken there will only be one more patch before the software will be (Official).
By the way, heavy pics (500K+) take a long time to load for snail internet like mine, But has more to do with senders choice than with the new theme. Could help the server too, but I'm not exactly fluent at that! :(

The blue in different shades suits well a air-nut-crowd. :laugh:

Looks good to me. I actually caught a brief preview of this yesterday or the day before. It attempted to load this format and then quicky reloaded the old format.
I don't mind the darker style. I like it better than the other style. One musicians board I frequently is so pale and washed out I think it's ill.

I like the new darker format - saves moving the monitor away from the window.
The 'new' tags for the active threads is a good idea.
Go easy on too much colour though, leave that for the photos.
I don't know about Jacks aging eyes but I find blue or yellow writing difficult to read.
Not that it wasn't before - but now the whole site looks that more professional. Very impressive.
