It's been requested. On VAC from Halloween until the following Sunday; I'm off that Monday, then Tuesday I'm going to DFW for an airline industry conference.

Yes for sure our intent is to participate. We have been participating but the hard part is getting enough bodies and flying a limited schedule.  We do the best we can.

Oct 31 through November 6th I think.

Know also that some airlines have chosen to put this control on both sides of the cockpit for pilot and copilot.

So I see the counter updated to counting down to 11-1-26. Is there an intent to operate this year?  I do want to participate, but my November dance card is rapidly filling up.  There MAY be a reunion at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey CA, and it usually coincides with the Veteran's Day holiday, and of course if we can get aboard DLI; last year the post was closed to all non-mission-essential activities. We are also buying a new flight planning system at work, and I'm a part of the implememtation team, the fun starts at the end of next month.

I know its a ways out, but...

I saw your build.  Amazing that I would like to apply to several of the B737NG panels.

Thanks KyleH,

So here is the update. I bought a brand new sound card...the exact same one I have in there now, changed it out, (very easy), turned on the computer and it worked perfectly.

On initial boot up it advised of new driver installation, same bubble that was coming up when the old card tried to initialize, which tells me the card must have been working on and off, and also sometimes was recognized by the computer as "new: hardware.

cycled the computer on and off a number of times for 2 days straight and it still works perfectly.

The only problem now is the red led light that illuminates inside this particular card does not illuminate, and when I try and open the Sound Blaster SBX control panel the computer says it is not detected.

I can live with that as I never used the control board anyway, and I equate the failure of the red SB LED is because the sound board control panel cannot be detected by the computer. However when i go into the device settings the system says the card is functioning properly.

Hey Kyle.  Tried it out again and let it spool up to 40 and settle.  Hit the TOGA and off it went no problems as long as I made sure the throttle levers were also advancing.

The TQ is motorized, and I've been issues with Throttle 1 not advancing (or retarding).

I'll need to work on that as the software reads the location - so while the A/T pip on the engine indicators is good, the lever pip is also accurate (and not correct).

Thanks

Warren
