Thank you Sam and Laura for being gracious hosts again this year.

I am typing this as I pack to head back to Seattle. It's amazing the bonds that are created by simply having something in common.  This year was a great opportunity to meet new faces, reconnect with old friends, and make new ones.

I'm always sad to leave and this year is no different. Like many, I'm already anticipating next year's event.

I am faced with a decision though... Sam upgraded the simulator to the latest release of P3D. Most of you know I fly X-Plane. I made the decision to move to XP after microsoft ditched the FSX title and significant advances in XP were finally realized.

But tonight, I had my first glimpse of the latest P3D. I was blown away. Absolutely blown away.

So now I'm faced with a rather difficult decision. I checked with Carenado and they do publish a Beech 1900D for P3D.

Other factors include the fact that my avionics software cost jumped 5000%.

...just when i was nearing the finish line!

Regardless, thanks for a great WF 2015 and hope to see everyone next year!

Hi Ray, after you left the room mood changed for the 3 of us and this morning I've been up since 4:00am,  my body clock is all messed up,  is 6:00am and I'm seating here missing a full week of simulator action.

I'm glad you were here with us for the whole entire event,  we thank you for your help, time and effort, it won't be the same without you, please thank your wife for her support and undertanding, hope we meet her someday.

And it's been decided,  welcome to P3D,  lol.

Have a great trip home and see you next year.

Hi "C"Ray.

As you said it is amazing the bonds we all make over something common. Heck I don't think any of us was ready to kill each other this year due to the lack of sleep.  Gonna miss ya until next year my friend. Really was great to see you.

I do ask one thing for next year though! Please ask your wife to pack your "MEDICATION" ha ha ha ha ha ha

Maybe you could also sign up for a soldering class :)

It would be great for us FS simmers if you switch over! As for avionics, you know where I stand with that. I am willing to help. Modify the ND software. We just did some work on the sim and the graphics are a huge upgrade in P3D v3. So much so I am going to look at it when I get home. I am using the FSX Steam and will do a comparison. You are "C" Ray the builder.. lol

We weren't. However, I think Laura may have been after Saturday mornings shenanigans .  :o

I just got thinking, maybe it was intentional and he was just trying to get back at us for assigning him the Madrid flight without his knowledge.  ;D

Either that or he was trying to get back at us for teasing him about his soldering skills :)

Glad you all had lots of fun. I checked in a few times and watched you all as you were flying or getting ready to depart. All the best to you all to getting back on normal sleep cycles this week...and next :-)

To wake y'all up I had to rely on my Marine Corps training from boot camp.

In retrospect, you guys got off easy.  :D
