Title: Hello from the simulation captial of the US - Orlando Florida
Post by: navymustang on April 21, 2015, 06:29:27 AM
I am a simulation engineer by trade and just happen to have a hobby that is also my work.  Also a commercial pilot with jet training provided by Delta Airlines while conducting research at Georgia Tech under a NASA grant.
I am building a 737-800 full scale cockpit in my 2-bay garage.  I acquired a retired Thales 737-200 simulator from a previous employer and have converted it to a 737 NG.  Complete gutting of the interior then rebuild using much of the equipment offered by Sismo in Spain.  Throttle quadrant is a real 737 NG that was motorized for me by Northern Flight Sim.
Would love to chat with other 737 enthusiast.

By any chance will you be at Sun-N-Fun this weekend?
I will be there on Saturday.
I am building in my garage also in Delray Beach Florida.

Thank you for the email - unfortunately if I go - it will be Sunday.
Wish you were closer - it would be interesting to see your work.  What are you building?  I always welcome support for my fellow builders.
Jim
