Today made the (Not so) difficult decision to change the wall paint color. No matter how much the name on the can says "Sedate Grey", all I see is "Tope"

(I'm color blind between blues and greens)

The new garage doors go up tomorrow and I start masking/cutting for the new paint color. (With Apologies to James, who helped with the Tope color)

Once that's finished, James will be flying (Driving) up to help re-position the Beech 1900 from KLAS to KIWA (Phoenix–Mesa Gateway Airport) so it can be rolled into the Depot repair facility where it will be torn down and relocated to the new hangar. Been awhile since I flew IFR on PilotEdge so this should be fun/interesting/dangerous!

More to come, and I am making a video of the flight.

Just stay out if icing conditions this time... and for god sakes save the Giraffe.

As for me the simulator is down. #1 cause it is too hot out there for the computers and #2. I just became a grandpa.

So family stuff has to come first.

First and foremost, congrats to the new family member, Trevor!

Nextly, the last big purchase item for the sim hangar was installed today. Couldn't be happier with them.

Also painted one wall with the new color and I'm really glad I decided to switch colors (even at the last minute) No pics of that yet. Not until the remaining walls are finished. Probably by Saturday.

That computer cabinet turned out awesome!  Although it looks like your computers blew spaghetti chunks onto the floor!  :o

Great to see all these things going on...

Hey Ray, I know that feeling! Doesn't it seem like no matter hard you try to prevent it, all wires take on their own life of entanglement?

Ain't that the truth! I try to keep my cables nice and zip-tied within their cable storage warehouse but I think they wriggle out of them at night.

Oh yes, I totally agree with that...lol! I got mine hanging on a rod, but anytime I go to remove just 1, 9 more tag along holding on for dear life...lol!

Hey Duncan, got pics...click-click?

John

John,

Here you go, I need to remount the search for the TFC centre button on my EFIS Unit, it's gone wandering off!

The Drawback of doing the AFDS, is I now need to redo the MIP Flood lighting with LEDs as well, the Standard lighting units I have in at the moment aren't cutting the mustard!

Task Manager is running on the MFD as I was keeping an eye on the system usage. New Computer arriving on Monday so planning to redistribute SimA around between the two machines to even out the load.
