Title: iPad as a display
Post by: firstinflight on February 19, 2012, 06:44:19 AM
Tried this out yesterday and thought would share...
I used it for my lower EICAS screen but i guess there could be more applications to this.

There are many - but the one i tried and know it works is called DisplayLink.
Download the driver on to the PC. Download the App to the iPad.

PC and iPad need to be on the same wireless network.

Once installed on the PC, when you bring up the App on the iPad, it detects any/all PCs that have the driver installed and you can choose the PC that you wish to make the iPad an additional display for.

I moved the Prosim737 Display window onto that display and it works pretty well - no latency.
