I see that you seem to be making your own carrier boards for screw terminals.

Have you seen these?

You can also attach those to DIN rail clips and then use DIN rails to support everything.

General Discussion Board. / P3D ViewGroups help needed.
Last post by sagrada737 - May 11, 2021, 06:09:45 PM
Hello All,

I am asking for some assistance from anyone that is currently using P3D ViewGroups with a three projector system on one computer.

I am using Pixelwix, which is identical to FlyElyse.  I am using one graphics card to feed my three projectors.  Thus far, I am successful in generating the .procalib files, and the ViewGroup.xml file.   But for the life of me, I can't seem to get these files setup and working correctly in P3D.

I would really like to talk with someone that has the same kind of system as me, so that I might be able to get this working.

As a side note...  I am successful in generating the .fxml file for the flight file, which warps and blends correctly.  However, in using ViewGroups, I want to take advantage of the asymfrustums feature that allow greater efficiency in the warp and blend process.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike

Hey Trevor...   Good to read your post, and glad to hear that you are okay.

We all understand the ups and downs in the seasons of our life.  Sometimes it is healthy and good to get away from things -- and put on the mindset of "Just taking a break".

These Sim Projects have a way of consuming our time and our focus.  But often it is better that these big projects take a back seat to more important matters in life that need our attention.  Whatever is going on in your life, may it be that everything will work out for the best.

All the Best,
Mike

Quote from: Trevor Hale on May 10, 2021, 03:26:06 AMHi Guys,

Thank you for your kind words.  Things have been very slow on the simulator front for the past month and a half.  I have some personal things going on right now that are kind of shal we say putting some of the simulator on the back burner.

My Plans are of course to get streaming again in the fall, by then maybe things will be farther along with MSFS and some of my personal issues will be better.

Everything is good though, and I am not down and out, so don;t worry about that.  Just taking a little break.

Hope everyone has a great Summer.

Trev

Would a hug help?

New architecture!

All interfacing will go in the rear circuitbraker wall.

Just like Boeing OEM. Switches and Korrys cables only from Panels and then via cables back.

Will be EPIC!

Err, you're welcome? No worries. I thought you had already seen it because it was not too difficult to find.

The main interface chip is quite expensive I think, and only available from a small number of suppliers. However, if it works then it will be worth the money.

To be honest I am not a fan of Teensy. I'm not really sure why. I think it's because they are single-source and harder to buy than Arduinos, but go for it if that's what you like.

Keep us posted on your progress, and shout out if you need any help.
