Hello
What should I do to make a auto-land with both autopilots engage on the PM MCP? After capturing ILS and select APP the B CMD should be engaged right? But it don't allow me to activate it. Am I doing something wrong here?

Please help.
Regards
Henrique

Been a long time but I think that is a setting in the config file to allow the use of multiple APs. PM users chime in here. I have not even seen my PM software in 2 years.  >:(

Check that Nav1 and Nav2 are both on the ILS frequency.

Just wondering....
Does the runway you are approaching feature ILS?

Is it the active ILS Runway for that airport?

Both Course displays the same?

Both F/D on (I think)

The only way you can engage the B or A side of the AP for autoland is 1st you must tune in the ILS frq on both nav's to the same ILS frq and the APP mode must be armed!!  2nd you must engage( A or B CMD) side as soon as the aircraft is  greater than 800 feet RA on the final approach !
Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while!

Thank you for confirming .
Not sure if PM models the 1000 feet restriction though, will check.

Yes Jack, PM models the 800 RA, below that you are not able to engage B for autoland. ;)
