Title: 747 1st class seats
Post by: paulnd on May 26, 2017, 09:05:11 AM
Hello,

I've bought 2 1st class seats for my home cinema room to confirm my geekiness beyond any doubt whatsoever. They appear to have been removed from a BA 747, the emergency card is still in the seat pocket!

Although I can recline the seats using the manual controls, I would really like to be able to use the motorised controls  8).

These are photos of 2 of the control units under the seats and I'll be grateful if anyone has any suggestions on how to power the seat controls or access to manuals etc? I'm in the UK so mains power is 240v.

there is also the entertainment system controller and seat monitor screens but I suspect those will be almost impossible to convert and I'll probably just replace the screens with touch screens or a tablet but that's for later.

thanks in advance

Paul

Thanks, a 240v to 110v ac converter is easy to get. Do you have a connection diagram?
