Kudos to BenQ customer service

My 2 year old BenQ projector had developed over 100 deal pixels in the last few weeks. So I got an RMA # from BenQ and sent the projector back for repairs. They received it last Tuesday and I got it back fixed this Friday. There was no bill enclosed so it looks like they fixed it under warranty (which I wasn't expecting).

So kudos to BenQ for looking after their customers. I wish more companies stood by their products in the same fashion.

Hi Maurice,
Thats good news. There seems to be a upsurge in what
some manufactuers are accepting outside of warranty.
Here in New Zealand failure after 2 years is considered
that the product was not made properly and is covered
by our Consumers Guarantee act.
In this modern age of Electronics they should have reliability beaten.
In this day and age of Internet, multinational companies
cant get away with much when consumers can hear how
their equipment is performing worldwide.
So its full steam ahead again. See it pays to rant and rave,
psychologists say it healthy.
