Hi Guys,
I will be upgrading my PC shortly and would like to Use ASus Sabertooth
mb which has the Z87 Chipset. However I hear some people are having
trouble with the USB ports recognising USB devices.
In particular what concerns me most is that I know of one case that
the O/C expansion module was not recognised on two new mb.
Can anyone shed anymore light on this.I did a google and it appears
some external Hard drives are also not recognised.

Thanks
Regards

It could probably just need a bios upgrade, but If you know that it has known issues then look for something else. With all the other issues we face with computers and interfaces, it isn't worth second guessing.

Thanks Gary,
Yes bios had been updated as well. The said person gave up and got an
ASrock Z87 and all was well.
