We are just coming into Memphis now! We have managed to get out in the front and we seem to be not getting behind! This is great improvement over last year! The flight board at http://worldflight.cockpitbuilders.com/pilots.html is up to date. Let us know how things are looking!

Well, it still not clear where are you now  :idiot:

According to the page you are still DEPARTING flight 1410:

1410   1   5       Seattle, USA   KSEA       12:10   7:10   KSLC   14:10   9:10   2:00   598   DEPARTING

while you just landed flight 1411:
1411   4   1       Salt Lake City, USA   KSLC       15:10   10:10   KMEM   18:00   13:00   2:50   1096

1412   5   4       Memphis, USA   KMEM       18:50   13:50   KORD   20:30   15:30   1:40   427

I still believe the idea to hang the flight number and actual Eastern time of departure on the back of FO seat is better.  ;)

Sorry that was my fault. I was flying. So I didn't get the route updated. I am doing it in two mins. I had to eat my lunch lol.

We will start posting the flight number.

Thanks Trevor! :)

BTW, any chance of getting also a live position like guys from http://worldflightperth.com.au/  have?

Nick

Trevor Hale

It's on our website. But you would have to look for us manually but it's on the worldflight page under media live map.

Or download VATMAP and you can do a search for DAL209

LIVE MAP: (Please give the Vatsim Traffic time to load. Zoom Level 5 or closer to see traffic)
NOTE: Map Loads -Centered on Sydney for Worldflight 2014 @ Zoom Level 5

This map does not work for me in any browser, stays on Sydney no matter how long I wait.

What am I missing?

Trevor Hale

That's the one. Should work no problem zoom level 5 or wider and drag the map wherever you want.

Trev

As well to get the iPad to display the live video feed. Download the twitch app.

Glad you guys are streaming to Youtube now. Twitch was A-g-g-r-a-v-a-t-i-n-g!!

Twitch did a browser refresh every minute, and more frequently on short final, for whatever weird reason. All I ever saw/heard was "50...40...30.. [REFRESH TWITCH]...  "...zero-niner taxi to terminal"

My bags are packed! 11 hours to departure.

You Tube quality is much better and love the new Picture in Picture setup with the flight deck cameras as we can see your faces and audio quality is much better.

Ok, now for the good news...I won't be there.  Mike will be (should be there any minute) but my flight was grounded because of equipment problems, (windshield wiper motors) and it was nasty Low IFR with Thunderstorms both in Lubbock and DFW. My flight got delayed until whenever, the following flight got canceled, spent just under 4 hours at the airport to be told ok, we can get you out around 6 pm, get you into TPA at 11:55 PM.  Mike would have had to drive from TPA to the hotel, then come and get me at midnight (at Mike doesn't do late nights, and I  understand that) and it would have put us back at the hotel after 1 AM, so that was not a good plan.  Tuesday, Mike has several flights and I'm not going to interrupt you guys flying to drive 2 hours round trip back and forth from SRQ to TPA...You guys are tired enough so I said forget it.

I know you have an additional pilot so I hope he can fill in for me (that shouldn't be too hard)

I'm sorry I don't get to meet all you guys and fly with you, seems like it just wasn't meant to be.

Bummed out here....

Just got in from the last leg of the day. We are at the midway point and the dispatch for WF has called for a 3 hour break. Not for the pilots but for the aircraft. When we got in from this last flight had a maintenance issue to deal with and that is fixed. Cleaned out the derbies from the crew and tucked DAL209 in for her well deserved nap! For the most part this year we are not getting behind (except for that 1 departure where the crew got a little impatient and took off out of line! Bad crew!! We wont do that again will we.) Next flight leaves at 6:10 and the wakeup calls have been put in place. Until tomorrow.......

The Crew of DAL209

Great post Bob. Maintenance did a great job. Either that or it needed the rest. Flight from Menara to Madrid leg is going well.

While I've missed getting to come down this year, I've enjoyed watching the live feed on YouTube and have really enjoyed the new/additional camera angles.

All the best to the crew, and especially to Sam and his family.

Go Team USA!

Thank you Eric,

I was hoping to see you again this year, hope you're doing good, best regards!

Tower at URSS delayed us for 40 minutes then went offline.  Ended up departing anyway and contacting departure after takeoff. Now it seems as though nothing is going on.

2 hours and 30 mins to get down puts us at USSS at 7:45am

Fun, fun, fun! Simming for WF would get boring if you guys didn't have the occasional issue pop up from time to time :-)
