Hi all:

I just want to know if anybody has had any experience replacing LED's in the fire panel handles from Cockpitsonic. I have seen someone rewiring the panel to be used either with Pokeys with the Wendy extension or other I/O cards such as the FDS Sys3 card. Mostly done due to the poor support of the panel for software other than PM.

Replacing the LED's should be no rocket science, it's just the access to them. The handles themselves can be easily removed by loosening a screw but the red caps covering the LED's, that's another matter. The thing is, I do not want to damage them. It is not clear to me if they are glued or pressure snapped, and that is why I would like to hear from you. As to why I burned them?, simple, I forgot Ohm's law when testing them :) .

Cheers

JF
