Title: Never Give Up!
Post by: Trevor Hale on December 16, 2011, 06:21:59 AM
Guys,  A User posted this video to me, and asked me to post it to you all, I am sure I may have seen it before.  Regardless It would be cool if it was possible, I guess if the engine was big enough it could be possible.

The most extreme stunt landing ever? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lJy1idHwCc#)

Then I found this...

Fake stunt plane loses wing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5uVaG9k6kw#)

LOL.  Neat regardless.

That is cool but i remember this was proven a fake.. I think if you look close something changes in the end with the airplane, paint or color, i forget..

lol, Now i see the bottom video.. yeah, fake but a cool idea anyhow!

Good point Mary,
When I looked at this video, not knowing it might be a RC, my first gut feeling was..get out of that dive with the tail and hold the ship on the prop with full power..for a "smooth crash", as that kind of airplane can climb on the prop in normal configuration.

Problem would probably be to counteract the prop torque with only one wing ??
Easier (sort of) with a jet for sure.
